Dream Garden is the heartful creation of Franky and Christa – two globetrotters who fell in love with the serene shores of Arugam Bay. What began as a dream by the sea in 2011 became reality in 2016, with the opening of a peaceful, family-run resort at Whiskey Point, Pottuvil. Blending. European craftsmanship and warm Sri Lankan hospitality, Dream Garden is a sanctuary for surfers, soul-seekers, and nature lovers from around the world.

The staff where very helpful and good. The cleaner was extremely helpful and good at his job. The food in the restaurant was fresh and tasty but the as slightly overpriced in comparison to everywhere else but still enjoyable. Really nice location and great surfing out front but is 15mins from arugam bay. The tuk tuk drivers are amazing and we have a great time with them and feel we left as friends.
The hotel is located in a beautiful, well-kept garden with a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The restaurant offers Italian cuisine. I didn't try them, except for the cappuccino, which tasted excellent... just like in Italy. If you stay longer, please ask the staff for cleaning, fresh laundry, and refilling of tea and coffee. Then it will be taken care of immediately.

The hotel garden is splendid. The pool is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable.
Superb beach front stay with attentive staff
We had a spacious apartment nicely air-conditioned and good shower facilities. The pool area was great for lounging and for kids to enjoy. Nice touch with the outdoor shower near pool to rinse off too. The menu has lots of variety and the pizza and fresh fish selection was delicious. Fresh fruit juice every morning and I’d recommend the Sri Lankan omelette for breakfast...

if you like a bit of spice. The staff particularly the bar/restaurant were incredibly kind and we felt really looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed a live acoustic night with a local talented artist. The resort is literally on the beach. The beaches were stunning. There are safer areas to swim closer to the boat area and it seems to be an attractive spot for surfers. The staff organized travel for us to and from the resort to Arugum Bay (about 10-15mins drive in Tuk Tuk) and on our departure to Columbo which was super helpful. We would definitely stay again.

A wonderful place. Quiet area, but only a few minutes' walk to the surfing point on the beach. Delicious meals in the restaurant. Great pool. Spacious, clean rooms. Very nice staff, ready to help at any time. I highly recommend it!

Una delle più belle Resort in cui sono stato !!! Location incantevole . Giardino Tropicale spettacolare, piscina da sogno immersa nel verde!! Pace e tranquillità assoluta a 2 passi da Whisky Point. Camere estremamente pulite, dotate di tutti i confort. Ottima colazione internazionale. Sevizio Ristorante interno , ottima selezione di vini e cocktail, birra alla spina, bruschetta, pasta e pizza come in Italia uno dei migliori in Sri Lanka. Staff sempre super gentile, sorridente e professionale. Tutto Top of Quality!

Enchanting location. Spectacular Tropical Garden, dream pool surrounded by greenery!!! Absolute peace and quiet, Just few steps from Whiskey Point. Extremely clean rooms, equipped with all comforts. Excellent international breakfast. Internal service restaurant, excellent selection of wines and cocktails, draft beer, bruschetta, pasta, and pizza as in Italy one of the best in Sri Lanka. Super friendly, smiling, and professional staff. All Top of Quality!
Einfach alles! Traumhafte Unterkunft, hatten das Glück die gesamte Anlage für uns alleine zu haben, waren allerdings außerhalb der Saison und zur Corona Zeit vor Ort. Liegt etwas abgelegen vom Schuss, was uns allerdings sehr gefallen hat, da wir auch mobil waren (Roller). Das Essen in der Unterkunft war auch sehr lecker. Das gesamte Personal und die Eigentümer waren mehr als zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Wir hätten dort auch gerne noch unsere Corona Quarantäne abgesessen :)

Fantastic accommodation. We were lucky enough to have the entire facility to ourselves, but unfortunately, we were on site during the out of season and especially the Corona time. It was a bit out of the way, which we liked very much because we had scooter. The food at the property was delicious too. All the staff and owners were more than accommodating and helpful. We would have liked to have served our corona quarantine there too :)
The location was perfectly situated between two surf points. The hotel itself was set in lovely, green garden surroundings. I would say the best part was the staff, so welcoming, friendly and fun.
